Labor and Employment Law Update

While we saw plenty of notable developments in labor and employment law in 2024, it is a new year, with a new administration, and 2025 has gotten off to an active start. In this year’s labor and employment law update, we will discuss what employers should know now and some of the top things to keep an eye on in the coming year. Topics will include select regulatory and case law updates; notable activity in the first 60 days of the new federal administration, including the executive orders on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and programs; the use of artificial intelligence in HR; and what we might expect to come next in federal and state labor and employment law developments.

Learning Objectives

  • Stay up to date on recent legal developments in labor and employment law, including statutory, regulatory and case law updates.
  • Reduce employment risk by proactively identifying legal compliance and employee relations issues.
  • Learn more about anticipated labor and employment issues in the year ahead.
